Full backups run every 24 hours and are stored on separate NVMe volumes in a different availability zone. Retention up to 30 days.

Point-in-Time Recovery

Restore your PostgreSQL or MySQL cluster to any second in the past 7 days. Binlog-based PITR with RTO under 10 minutes.

Read Replicas

Provision up to 5 asynchronous read replicas in the same region. Route read traffic to relieve pressure on your primary node.

Encryption at Rest & in Transit

AES-256 encryption on all volumes. TLS 1.3 enforced for all client connections. Unencrypted connections are rejected.

Real-Time Metrics

Query throughput, active connections, cache hit ratio, and replication lag are available in the console and via Prometheus-compatible scrape endpoints.

Firewall & Private Networking

Databases are deployed inside your private VPC by default. Public access requires an explicit firewall rule with IP allowlisting.

NVMe Storage

All databases run on PCIe 5.0 NVMe drives. No network-attached storage penalty — consistent sub-100µs write latency.

Managed Upgrades

Minor version patches are applied automatically during your maintenance window. Major version upgrades require a one-click approval.
